Oil Painting Courses

Oil Painting Courses

My love for painting has driven me to explore ways of teaching that enable art enthusiasts to excel at painting. Through years of research, trial and error, I created a curriculum and teaching methodologies that consider the human variable , where everyone interested in painting can eventually can be an artist/ painter through a few hours per week!

The teachings are not one size fits all, and they are tailored to your own specific needs and challenges.

Yes you can, unlike the academic approach, the curriculum is a CBL format ( Curiosity- based learning) which means that the tools used are acquired when there is an actual need. Generally, painting does not need drawing skills ( Definitely helps, but is not a necessity) and they can be acquired along the way depending on the desired direction and subject matter.

Because it is a CBL curriculum, the progression is non-linear , catering for different skill levels. . There is a monthly assessment where the participants are to know what the next steps are, if participants are progressing well, there will be new parts added to increase the challenge, and vice versa, if the progression is not moving as desired, then there will be some focus on maintenance and improving current skills.

There is a small list of materials that you’ll need to purchase. If some materials are unavailable, the studio happily provides such till you are able to find them.
